Southern Style Squash Casserole
"This squash casserole is my mother's recipe. It has only four ingredients: yellow squash, crackers, sharp cheddar cheese, and a touch of mayonnaise. We make this every year for Thanksgiving, but it's a wonderful casserole for any occasion. I recommend using fresh squash, not frozen, as it has a much better flavor. This is a great make-ahead dish, too. You can follow the instructions right up until you bake, then cover and put in the fridge to bake the next day."
