Ingredients

1 (3-ounce) box pistachio pudding mix, plus the required ingredients
1 (8-ounce) tub of Cool Whip
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 bag mini marshmallows (about 1 cup)
1 cup pineapple chunks

Instructions

Make the pudding as directed, then fold in the Cool Whip.
Stir in walnuts, pineapple chunks, and mini marshmallows.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

My family enjoys shredded coconut instead of the marshmallows, and crushed pineapple iinstead of chunks. Good eating !

Yum! This tastes just like the kind my aunt used to make. However, the pineapple chunks were kind of weird. I'm using crushed pineapple next time. And more marshmallows!

I'm not the biggest fan of pistachio, but I thought I'd give this dessert a try. I'm so glad I did... it was delicious! The flavor is a tasty mix of mild pistachio, whipped topping and marshmallow, and the nuts added great texture! Would definitely make this again!

I really enjoyed this watergate salad! I love the pistachio flavor and the texture that the nuts and marshmallows give this dessert salad. It would taste even better with some shredded coconut folded in!
