Cajun Jambalaya Soup is a fun way to enjoy the flavors of jambalaya. For this Southern soup recipe, you can use chicken, andouille sausage, or shrimp. However, you could definitely make this soup with all three meats! Cajun seasoning and jalapeno pepper create a soup that is rich in flavor and will definitely wake up your taste buds. This Cajun inspired recipe is loaded with plenty of vegetables like tomatoes, bell pepper, and onion, so it is an all-in-one meal. Feel free to enjoy this soup with garnishes like sliced green onions, parsley or hot sauce, but it is just as good on its own.

This is nice! We like jambalaya, and it's one of our usual go-to dishes we order when we're dining out at a Cajun restaurant. I like the idea of turning this into a full-fledged soup and it would be perfect for when the weather gets colder and you're looking for something to take the chill off. We almost always use chicken and sausage when we make this. Shrimp is an option if we have some on hand, and we've been known to toss some beef in as well.
