For a refreshing twist on Southern sweet tea, try this recipe for Sweet Tea Granita. Tea bags steep in a simple syrup made from water and sugar. Lemon juice and lemon zest get stirred in for a bit of flavor and pucker. This mixture then gets put in a casserole dish in the freezer. Scraping the frozen sweet tea creates flaky chunks of ice that can then get scooped into a glass. This refreshing frozen treat would make a great dessert or summer drink.
