Ingredients

  • 1 Fudge brownie mix, 9 x 13 pan size
  • 4 ounces Baking chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 cups Confectioner’s sugar
  • 16 ounces Tub of whipped topping, thawed
  1. To make this French silk pie recipe, start by preparing the fudge brownie mix according to the package’s directions in a 9x13 glass baking dish.

  2. Once baked, remove the brownie and let it cool completely in the pan.

  3. Next, you can start your silk pie mixture. Add the cream cheese and powdered sugar to a large mixing bowl.

  4. Beat the mixture with a hand mixer on medium speed until well combined and smooth.

  5. Add the whipped topping and fold it in gently to the mixture.

  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate and the butter. Microwave on high for 30 seconds.

  7. Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir the chocolate. Continue melting in 15-second increments until the chocolate and butter are melted, smooth, and well combined.

  8. Add the melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture and fold together until it’s just combined.

  9. Pour the French silk chocolate pie mixture over the cooled brownies and spread it evenly.

  10. Cover the baking dish and let it sit in the fridge for 2-4 hours to set.

  11. Enjoy the brownie pie as is or top it with whipped cream and chocolate. Enjoy!
