Italian Fudge Roll Cookies

"When I was a little girl I would watch all the elder ladies in the family gather to make these fudge cookies. They would have rolls and rolls of fudge filled logs, bake them and slice. These were a childs dream cookie. They are truly filled with fudge. The middles are creamy with chocolate fudge and walnuts. My mom always made mine without nuts since I didnt like them. Once you make these for christmas you will every year again and again!"
