Authentic Louisiana Beignets are the perfect way to celebrate Fat Tuesday. This New Orleans beignet recipe is impossibly easy to put together, and the results are unbelievably delicious! A simple yeast dough is cut into squares, fried, and then dusted with powdered sugar to make these delicious doughnuts.

As an added bonus, this recipe makes a ton of beignets. You can even prepare the dough ahead of time, refrigerate it overnight, and then fry the beignets in the morning for your very own hot and fresh homemade doughnuts.

I love beignets! This recipe looks amazing!

Wow, these look just fantastic. I love the texture of beignets, and the powdered sugar is such a great topping.

I had some of these when I visited New Orleans in high school! I still think about them sometimes :)

Wow, these look ah-mazing. I wish I was eating one (or more) of these right now. Yum!
