- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon finely minced fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon dry ground mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 chicken drumsticks

Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
-
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil and arrange the drumsticks in one layer.
-
Pour the marinade liquid into a small saucepan, add the chicken broth and bring to a rolling boil, stir well and lower heat. Continue to cook the sauce at a low boil for at least 20 minutes until it is syrup-y.
-
Brush sauce liberally over drumsticks and bake for 45 minutes, brushing with additional sauce two or three more times. Continue to bake until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
Notes
This would be a good recipe for chicken wings as well. Use 4 pounds of chicken drummetttes and bake them for 30-40 minutes.
