This is a great dish featuring three of my favorite ingredients chicken, broccoli, and cheese. I've encountered a few similar recipes, but this is one of the easier braids I've seen. I've never made this with homemade dough. I've always taken the easier way of using refrigerated crescent roll dough. I'd use a mix of cheddar and mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese instead of just cheddar. This is definitely one I'm going to be trying out over the holidays, since it would be a great way to use some leftover turkey.

Tried this tonight and it was delicious! I did change a few ingredients though - I used about half a can of cream of chicken soup instead of the mayo, and added carrots, spinach and mushrooms in place of the veggies in the recipe. Oh, and I used mozzarella cheese in place of cheddar. My husband and I loved it and I plan to make it again with turkey, ham and cheese. I would definitely recommend this recipe - so easy to make.
