"Whenever you can find autumn fresh, crispy, tart apples, these Apple Buttermilk Pancakes with Toasted Pecans are a "must make". The pancakes are so moist, a little sweet and a little tart depending on the type of apples used. Cameos and Honey Crisps are my favorite. Chopped, toasted pecans add a bit of a crunch as well as a good ole southern pecan flavor. As the final touch, pour some warmed maple syrup over the pancakes for a delicious weekend brunch that you and your family will love."

Note from the blogger: "A mix a different flours can make these pancakes even more exciting.  I sometimes use a mix of spelt, unbleached and whole wheat."
