Easy Cheese And Bacon Scones
"These easy cheese and bacon scones are the perfect savoury biscuit for serving instead of bread rolls. Easy to make, perfect as a side dish or a snack and they keep really well. These bacon scones with cheese (I've used cheddar) are soft and fluffy. More like a flaky savoury biscuit, these scones only take about 20 minutes to bake. They rise until they're light and fluffy. Salty bacon, creamy sharp cheddar and fresh cracked black pepper make these cheese and bacon scones the perfect side to serve with chilli, or the beef and ale stew. Also, perfect to serve with this ham and lentil soup."
