These kinds of casseroles are a particular favorite of mine. I've made this before using some guacamole chips, mostly the Guacachip brand made by El Sabroso. I'd like to try this with either blue corn tortilla chips or the salsa flavored chips also made by El Sabroso called Salsitas. I've rarely used plain tortilla chips for dishes like this, much preferring to use some sort of flavored chip. I've also added to the beef some diced green pepper along with the onion and garlic, and substituted black beans for the ranch or chili beans.

This looks delicious!! I've never used ranch beans before, but I love anything ranch flavored. Can't wait to try this!
