Yields12 sliders
Cooking MethodGrilling
Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 shakes of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces Gruyere cheese
- 4 ounces arugula
- 12 freshly baked slider buns
- sliced red onions
- sliced tomatoes
Instructions
-
Prepare the add-ons, such as sliced tomato, onion, and cheese.
-
Season the burgers with olive oil, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly with a fork.
-
Form the patties. For tender burgers, avoid packing them down.
-
Preheat indoor grill pan for 3 minutes on medium-high heat.
-
Place burgers on the grill. Resist the temptation to flip them for 4 to 5 minutes.
-
Cook 3 to 5 minutes per side. Place the cheese on burgers during last couple of minutes of cooking.
-
Plate the burgers under foil for 3 minutes. This will help the juices to say inside the burgers while the cheese melts.
-
Slice and toast the buns.
-
Serve with arugula.

Sliders are great! I also enjoy a medium rare RIBEYE STEAK on a grill like this seasoned after cooking with sea salt and pepper! Enjoy !

I don't eat meat anymore, but have found some great meat and dairy substitutes that would work well as replacements for some of the recipe ingredients. Thank you for sharing!

Yumm, I'd probably add some crumbled bacon to the ground beef before cooking, though! You can never have too much bacon

These look yummy. Burgers cooked on a grill are the best. I like the size for when my grandkids are around. It's great for adults too they can eat one or reach for another.
