Beefy Mushroom Noodle Bake
"A comfort-food classic, Beefy Mushroom Noodle Bake is a tasty casserole that is perfect for dinner any night. Beef round steak is sliced into bite-sized pieces and sauteed with onions, garlic and mushrooms for a savory start. A home-made cream sauce is punched up a notch with canned cream of mushroom soup. Combine all ingredients (including noodles) in a baking dish, sprinkle with crushed butter crackers and bake, this recipe will become a family favorite."

- (12-ounce) extra-wide egg noodles
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 large yellow onions, peeled and chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 1 pound beef round steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 (16-ounce) sliced mushrooms
- 8 tablespoons butter, divided
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
Add water and salt to a large stockpot and bring to a boil over high heat.
