Is there anything better than a cool and creamy pie? If you’re a fan of lime dessert recipes, then you will love this simple and delicious pie. This easy Southern recipe features a creamy lime filling nestled in a buttery graham cracker crust. Once the creamy pie has been baked, simply allow the pie to chill in the fridge. This rich dessert is the perfect balance between creamy and tart. The most difficult part of this recipe is waiting for it to chill!
This easy dessert recipe only requires a few ingredients and can easily be made by even the novice baker. Once you try this delicious and easy Southern recipe, it is sure to become your favorite new pie.

Ingredients

  • 18 whole graham crackers
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted (use more if the crust is too crumbly)
  • 1 lime, zested
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Crush the graham crackers in a food processor. Pour the crushed crackers into a bowl and stir in sugar and melted butter.

  2. Press the cracker crumb mixture into a pie pan and bake for 5 minutes or until golden and set. Remove from oven and set aside to cool slightly.

  3. Mix lime zest, lime juice, and egg yolks in a mixing bowl. Add in condensed milk and mix on high until smooth and thick.

  4. Pour mixture into crust and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven, allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
