If you like no-bake desserts, you will love this Elvis-Style Peanut Butter Banana Pie. The crust of this creamy pie recipe is made from crushed vanilla wafers, which gives this pie delicious flavor. A simple filling made from cream cheese, bananas, peanut butter, and powdered sugar is poured into the crust before it is chilled in the refrigerator. The most difficult part of making this pie is waiting for it to chill! The pie is topped with homemade whipped cream for the ultimate treat. The Elvis-style descriptor is provided by this website, not by the original author of the recipe. When I first came across this recipe, I couldn't help but wonder where the bacon was. Some bacon added to the recipe would definitely make it Elvis-style. Seriously, though, this is a really nice no-bake recipe. The use of crushed vanilla wafers for the crust is new to me and does give it a different taste than my usual use of graham crackers.
