Southern chess pie is a well-known dessert classic, and this recipe for Chocolate Lover's Chess Pie gives it a chocolatey twist. Cornmeal, sugar, cocoa powder, milk, butter, and eggs combine to make the dense chocolate pie filling. The batter is then poured into a prepared crust before baking in the oven until set and cooked through. This pie is excellent served both warm and cold. Top each slice of pie with a dollop of whipped cream and a big glass of ice-cold milk.

I made this pie this weekend, and it was super good. It's like a mix between a very soft brownie and a custard pie. Also, it made the kitchen smell amazing! I love it and can't wait to try other kinds of chess pie.
