Hand pies are a true Southern classic, and these Baked Apple Hand Pies are no exception. Unlike your typical hand pie, this easy apple pie recipe is baked, not fried, so you can indulge without feeling guilty. Dried apples are cooked in a syrup made from sugar, water, butter, and cinnamon before being tucked away in pockets of store-bought pie dough. These baby pies get brushed with egg wash and then bake for twenty-five minutes until they are golden brown.
