This recipe for Kentucky Hot Browns is the perfect turkey sandwich recipe to make for Derby Day. Although this Kentucky classic is particularly suited for the first Saturday in May, it is a quick and delicious sandwich to make any time of the year. This open-faced turkey sandwich is simple yet filling. A piece of white bread is topped with turkey and an easy, elegant cheese sauce. It is broiled until it is golden brown and bubbling. Finally, the sandwich is topped with crispy bacon and sliced tomatoes. This certainly isn't your boring turkey and cheese sandwich!
