"This delectable hot mess was created at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky in 1926. There have been slight modifications here and there but for the most part the sandwich has kept its original tasty components. Sometimes the cheese sauce is made with Parmesan, sometimes with cheddar and sometimes with both. This Hot Brown also known as a Kentucky Hot Brown or a Louisville Hot Brown is an open faced sandwich layered with turkey, crisp bacon, sun ripened tomatoes and creamy cheese sauce."
