Nothing is better than a fluffy banana muffin or a blueberry muffin, and now you can enjoy both at the same time with this recipe for Lightened-Up Banana Blueberry Muffins! This easy muffin recipe combines bananas, blueberries, chocolate chips, oats, and other ingredients. Buttermilk helps to make these muffins particularly moist, while brown sugar adds a hint of sweetness. You will love that this recipe uses a combination of whole wheat and all-purpose flours, so these baked goods are a bit lighter than traditional muffins.

These look terrific! I love both blueberry muffins as well as banana, and I had never thought of combining the two together before. I'm a bit undecided about the chocolate chips, but I would definitely include some chopped walnuts since that's how I usually make banana bread or muffins. These would be ideal for breakfast, and I could see starting the day with one of these and a cup of coffee or tea. Definitely one I want to make.
