I don't really care for grits. I've tried them a few times, and never been very impressed, though that might be because they weren't prepared properly. Because of my love for all things sausage and bacon, I'm interested in giving this a try. One question at the original site asked about using polenta. I always thought polenta and grits were different from each other, but apparently they're quite similar with only a few (mainly cosmetic) differences. So, I'm definitely adding this recipe to my must-try list.

These look yummy! I have never had grit muffins, but these look like they are worth a try!
