Date and Nut Chews are traditional and easy Christmas cookies that you can plan on making for years to come. Dates and pecans or walnuts are tossed together with a simple batter made from flour, sugar, baking powder, and eggs. The cookie batter bakes for half an hour before being dusted with powdered sugar and cut into small squares. Make these simple and chewy cookies around the holidays for a great dessert that is bursting with dates and nuts. Everyone will love these delicious cookies and you will love how easy they were to make.
