This easy poke cake recipe is full of all of the King's favorite flavors. Ode-to-Elvis Poke Cake is the perfect recipe to make for anyone who loves Elvis' music. Plus, this poke cake recipe is a cinch to make. Boxed cake mix and pudding mix help to make this peanut butter banana cake a breeze. The base of the cake is made with yellow cake that is flavored with peanut butter. The cake is then topped with banana cream pudding, whipped topping, crumbled bacon, and a peanut butter glaze. No one will be able to resist this indulgent cake.

I'm not entirely sure how to take this. It almost seems like a parody, but everything jives with what Elvis had as a snack. I'm seriously tempted to make one of these just because I like all the ingredients, and even the addition of the crumbled bacon sounds appealing. I've had candied bacon as a garnish for different things, as well as being covered in chocolate, so this recipe doesn't seem overly strange to me. It's worth giving it a try.

What better way to celebrate Elvis than with this tasty cake. I will be adding bacon to sweets more often!
