Dump cakes are the ultimate icons of relaxed and messy baking these days, and this Easy Apple Dump Cake is no different from the rest. As an homage to everyone who loves cinnamony apple pie goodness, this simple cake recipe from scratch features two cans of apple pie filling, cinnamon chips, ground cinnamon, pecans, spice cake mix, and, of course, melted butter. You can tell just from the list of ingredients just how yummy and spicy-sweet this quick dessert is going to taste and smell. You'll want to make this simple dessert again and again just to keep that delicious aroma in the air. If this is your first time making a dump cake, you may never go back to precisely layered baking again. The joy of baking this messy wonder is that you get to just pour and sprinkle. Nothing has to look pretty or fancy, which is just fine because what this cake lacks in beauty, it makes up for in flavor.
