My Mom always made cornbread dressing when I was a child. It was the meal that meant Thanksgiving and Christmas were here. She always tried to show me how to make it, but she had no real recipe. Some of this and some of that...and it came out great. That being said, it didn't work so well for me. This recipes does not have sage, but should be close to hers if sage is added. That is the one ingredient that you can do to taste! I wonder if you could actually stuff a turkey with this recipe after it is cooked, but before you cook the turkey. Has anyone tried that?
