Chopped pecans and chocolate chips are tossed into the cookie batter to add some interesting (and delicious) texture. If you are all out of chocolate chips, don't fret; leftover, chopped up Halloween chocolate candy can be used as a substitute. The powdered sugar exterior of these treats makes them festive and perfect for serving to Christmas guests or sharing with coworkers.
