Southern Fried Chicken
"This southern style fried chicken is made the way you remember your grandma making it. First it's cup up with a pulley (or wish) bone. Remember those? Then it's seasoned, lightly floured and lovingly tended in an iron skillet. Once it reaches that perfect golden brown color it's drained on brown paper and paper towels. The blog post includes instructions for making gravy from the pan drippings, too. Perfect for topping the rice, mashed potatoes or biscuits that you'll make along with your chicken."
