Wildwood Grilling's products are all centered on making great food packed with flavor. Their smoking chips come in a multitude of varieties and will add a depth of flavor otherwise unattainable. The Planks and Wraps both add a different, savory dimension to your food; they are perfect to use when grilling or smoking fish.

 

I love the cedar and hikory planks because they make for a fun presentation. They make six different planks using different wood, but I really like the cedar because it pairs well with fish. The flavors imparted from different types of food lend themselves to different ingredients. These cedar planks are absolutely perfect for making a grilled salmon recipe. The Hickory Planks have a flavor that lends itself most ot heaty meats and vegetables.

 

The cedar wraps are also quite handy since you can wrap them around just about anything. I think they work really well with vegetables and add a flavor you can get with spices. 

 

The smoking chips are a little harder to judge as the flavors are more nuanced. I think they both worked really well for smoked pork and chicken. They burned evenly and did not add too much smoky flavor like some are prone to do.

 

All of these grilling and smoking products are easy to use even if you are lighting your grill for the first time. Clear instructions come written on the packaging so it is hard to mess anything up. Most of the products need to be soaked ahead of time, but you can actually use beer or wine to add even more flavor to the planks, wraps, or smoking chips. I would recommend Wildwood Grilling's products to a beginner, as well as, experienced grill master.
