Homesweet Homegrown is making some of the best small-batch hot sauces. Their trio of signature flavors includes the Aramingo Pineapple Mango, Orange Crush, and Punch Drunk featuring chocolate. Each sauce has a special homegrown pepper as the star ingredient.

They pride themselves on the fact that each sauce is vegan, non-GMO, and all natural. Their farm in Pennsylvania grows all of the peppers used in the sauces. I found it interesting that they use chia seeds to thicken the sauce; I would have never guessed.

Each sauce has a different level of heat based on what pepper is used to make it. My favorite flavor was the Orange Crush. I was apprehensive because it is made with Habaneros, but I was surprised that it had a perfect level of heat. This is the kind of hot sauce I could put on just about everything. The citrus flavors are complemented by a carrot-base.

The hottest sauce as by far the Punch Drunk flavor with chocolate and ghost peppers. The chocolate flavors actually work quite well with the peppers. It is fairly subdued, but has a distinctive depth of flavor. The Aramingo flavor utilizes pineapple, mango, and Lemon Drop chilies. This hot sauce was the fruitiest of the three. It would work great with a variety of recipes, but especially Latin American dishes.

If you enjoy a little kick in your food, then you will love these hot sauces Homesweet Homegrown. Each sauce has a distinctive flavor that pairs well with a medley of dishes.

You really need to pair these with food to bring out the unique flavors. I wouldn't recommend them on their own.
