Sauces and condiments can truly make a meal complete. These artisanal Green Mountain Mustard flavors will do just that. They have 8 spectacular flavors of mustard that pair well with a wide variety of foods. I had the opportunity to sample three of their most popular flavors: Ragin' Rooster Sriracha Mustard, Horse Power Horseradish Mustard, and Keg Stand Wholegrain Beer Mustard.


Each of the flavors sampled pairs well with different flavors and meat. My favorite was the Keg Stand Beer Mustard. It is primarily made up of mustard seeds that pop in your mouth. I love that it adds flavor, but also a great texture. The Horsepower Horseradish Mustard really works well with red meat. I think it is absolutely divine on a brisket or roast beef sandwich. The heat of the horseradish is just right, not too spicy nor too bland. This will be one of my staple condiments. The Ragin' Rooster Sriracha Mustard is packed with a ton of flavor. I think it works well with a wide variety of foods, but you have to be careful because it has quite the kick. I especially liked it as a condiment on a chicken sandwich. I loved the heat because it is flavorful and not the kind that will just kill your taste buds. 


Each of these small-batch, homemade mustards is delicious and wonderfully packaged. The adorable names on the packaging are accompanied by a small flavor profile.  I thought it was fun (and tasty!) to experiment with different flavor combinations you may have never tried before. These mustards will enhance any food they touch!

Really enjoy all of these flavors. They give your food a little kick and a lot of flavor!

First of all, the packaging on these jars is really fun! As for the taste, I really enjoyed the horseradish flavor, which I think would add a nice kick to a sandwich without being overly spicy. I wasn't a big fan of the Sriracha flavor. I do love Sriracha, but I think the Sriracha bandwagon is starting to go a bit far...I don't think mustard and Sriracha make for a good marriage of flavors, so that was definitely my least favorite.
