Lighter Cheddar Broccoli Salad is a delicious way to get your daily serving of vegetables. This recipe for broccoli salad will be the perfect addition to your family dinner. Broccoli, cauliflower, peas, bacon, and Cheddar are the stars of this flavor show. Besides being delicious, this easy Southern recipe is also easy to assemble. First, cut the broccoli and cauliflower into bite-sized pieces. Then, briefly boil the broccoli, cauliflower, and peas before shocking them with cold water. While the veggies are cooling, cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in a skillet until it is crispy and flavorful. A simple dressing of mayo and yogurt is poured over the veggies, bacon, and cheese. You won't be able to resist this easy potluck salad.
