Oh yes it is that time of year to do this with the tomatoes. This Easy Steps for Freezing Whole Tomatoes is spot on! I already have 3 gallon bags of tomatoes in the freezer this year. This is the best way I have found to have and keep great summer tasting tomatoes to have all year long. Some tomatoes will not split open when ready. If you wait to long you will end up with mushy tomatoes. I do them for 1 minute only, then into ice water. These are great for soups and stews, or to can off later in the winter months to heat the house. Thank you so much for sharing this how to.
