Taco Soup Recipe

"My taco soup recipe is a go to for our family during the cold weather months. I have been making it for many years but realized I had never shared the recipe here. Well we are going to fix that today! Enjoy this taco soup with your family on a cool fall evening. I guarantee it will be a hit with the entire family and it is super easy to make. That makes this one the perfect weeknight meal."

Ingredients

  • 28 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 10 oz can Rotel original
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 15.25 oz can whole corn (drained)
  • 2 – 15.5 oz cans light red kidney beans (drained)
  • 1 lb hamburger meat
  • Chips, sour cream, salsa, cheese, and any other toppings that you enjoy!
  1. Begin by browning the hamburger meat in a skillet. Remove from skillet and drain. Add to a large soup pot: diced tomatoes, Rotel, taco seasoning, whole corn, kidney beans, and hamburger meat. Stir and bring to a boil. Serve soup over tortilla chips with the toppings of your choice. We love sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and salsa. Any toppings that your family likes on tacos will work over this soup however. Dig into a bowl and enjoy!

  2. This will be your go to recipe for a busy weeknight. Whip up this taco soup recipe in minutes and enjoy a big bowl or two! You will love the taste and the fact that the entire family digs right in.
